‘Pelvic Health Problems are often seen as a mainly female issue but in men the prostate gland can also be an organ that can lead to problems. One of the best screening tools we have at present is the PSA blood test. Although a raised level does not always indicate disease it can trigger further investigations which can prevent more severe problems. Friends Of Prostate Sufferers are holding their 11^th PSA Testing Roadshow on Tuesday 6^th September. It is a free event and open to all men. This is an opportunity for you or your loved one to check they are free of prostate cancer. Please come and encourage your friends to be checked too – prevention is always better than cure!’
